Dr. Samantha Kempker-Margherio and collaborator Dr. Aparna Shah of the School of Neuroscience hosted a Brain Day: Just Say KNOW field trip for 55 fifth graders from Falling Branch Elementary. The students learned about the brain, methods to study the brain, and the effects of substance abuse on the brain. This project was funded through Dr. Shah's VT Engage grant and Dr. Margherio and Dr. Shah's Center for Peace Building
