Friends of Psychology Endowed Scholarship for Rising Seniors
The Friends of Psychology Endowed Scholarship was funded by several contributions from Psychology Department alumni and friends. All juniors about to enter their senior year may apply. The recipient is chosen based on academic performance, campus and community activities, and a statement of future goals. The scholarship amount varies, but is usually close to $1000, paid during the recipient's junior year.

The Mary Nolen Blackwood Endowed Scholarship for Rising Juniors
This award was made possible through the generous support of Willis and Mary Nolen Blackwood, and is named for Mrs. Blackwood, a Virginia Tech alumna who earned her bachelor's degree in psychology. All sophomores about to enter their junior year may apply. The recipient is chosen based on academic performance, campus and community activities, and a statement of future goals. The scholarship amount varies, but is usually close to $1000, paid during the recipient's junior year.

Dean's Scholarship for Incoming Freshmen
All incoming freshmen majoring in psychology are automatically considered for this merit-based award. No application is necessary. One scholarship is awarded each year.
